In 1999, to promote the Japanese 100-yen store Daiso, Black Hat Magic released a prop called Dart Locking Trick with the authorization of Ton Onosaka San.
The principle of this prop has always been fascinating. Now, 25 years later, it has been improved and re-released. It is hoped that you will also enjoy this principle.
Effect
The magician first took out an envelope, explained that it was a prediction and handed it to an audience member for safekeeping. Then the magician took out a board with many numbers on it and placed a rotating arrow on top of it. Next, he invited another audience to spin the arrow.
After the arrow stopped, the magician followed the number it pointed to and flipped over the back of the number board, revealing that among the 16 numbers on the back, there are different dice patterns respectively.
According to the number selected by the arrow, ask the audience to remember the pattern of the dice. Then, ask the audience member who is holding the envelope to open it and take out the prediction card. The result is that the pattern on the prediction card is exactly the same as the one on the dice selected by the arrow!
If the audience is still not satisfied and requests another performance, the magician can choose another audience member to play again, and the prediction will still match!!
