The spectator themselves pulls their banknote out from the stapled cards - completely unharmed.
For the finale, the stapled cards are placed in the spectator's hands. With a simple gesture, the two stapled cards fuse into one impossible souvenir: a single card with two different faces - and the original staple still holding it together.
