In collaboration with magician and playing card influencer KTrickstery, Improv Playing Cards designed a brand new, original, fully customized deck of cards. The deck was made with cardists and collectors in mind, and contains custom fronts, backs, pips, face cards, and tuck box. The tuck box is subtly embossed.
Each suit represents a different species of mantis: Hearts: Orchid Mantis (Hymenopus coronatus) Diamonds: Conehead Mantis (Empusa pennata) Spades: Carolina Mantis (Stagmomantis carolina) Clubs: Green Praying Mantis (Sphodromantis gastrica)
The art is fully original, created by Improv Playing Cards resident artist Eva Paruch. No AI was used in the making of this product. Only 2500 copies were manufactured.
