The magician spreads a deck of cards to show that all of them are different and mixed. The deck is shuffled again and a card is selected by a spectator. The selection is placed back in the deck by the spectator. The magician shuffles the deck one more time.
To reveal the selection the magician will place a card face up in the spectator's hand as the suit and another card face up in another spectator's hand as the value. Unfortunately, it doesn't match with the spectator's selected card... no problem at all! The magician or the spectators themselves turn to the back of the cards: in one there is a burnt image of the selected suit and in the other is the burnt image of the selected number!!! Applause and great reactions guaranteed!
